Well, they told me it was valium, before they even began prep, and I’m pretty good about keeping track of such things. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t misspeak. What you’re describing sounds exactly like what I had - it wore off almost instantly, with no noticeable aftereffects.
they always start out with Valium for two reasons…it helps with any anxiety and it relaxes you to make intubation easier…messing up your throat with that thing will take days to heal…very sensative tissue down there
