It’s a good thing to remember that. Even reasonable conservatives for some reason often seem to forget that.

Remember Weiner exists, and many, many, many others like him.

The problem here is defining ‘the left’. Most liberals and centrist Democrats are not anti-Israel, while they may believe some misinformation about the state’s actions. Most far-left people are. (NO, I have no polls or links, this is based on my intuitive observations of the range of the left-of-center community.)
