My wife and I crossed at Niagara falls earlier this year, went pretty smoothly.

GF and I crossed twice in the same weekend at Detroit/Windsor. The first time we came over the guy was awesome. We talked about UM football for a few minutes and never asked any security questions. The second time we came over the officer was pretty rude. Spend several minutes grilling us from what we were doing, why, who we met, guns, knives, etc.
