President G.H.W. Bush famously barfed in the middle of a formal dinner honoring him in Beijing. So diplomatic gaffes aren’t unheard of. But the Obama-Brown encounter suggested something worse than a SNAFU. It suggested deliberate indifference to the common diplomatic courtesies afforded an old ally for many years.

Conclusion: At best, the Obamas don’t care about this old alliance and “special relationship”. At worst, they want to destroy it.
