Doubtful, but possible…hell, worse shit goes on in movies all the time now. The thing is, the talent that went in to Blazing Saddles is mostly gone. Little, Korman, Kahn, Pickens, and Pryor (among others) have passed away. Wilder and Brooks have grown old and are mostly retired at this point.

Sure, someone could try to remake it nowadays (and, knowing Hollywood, they might just try it), but you can’t catch lightning in a bottle. That was their shot, their time…and it’s still fantastic after all these years.
