Unless there was a non-disclosure form signed as part of an agreement to go to this fundraiser, I don’t see how there would be legal issues.

Mitt Romney said what he really meant. He wrote off half the country, even some of his own supporters, as lazy and shiftless losers. That’s all on him.

Both candidates prohibit cell phones and recordings and these private fundraisers (yes, Obama does it too). I’m not sure if there’s a legal disclosure agreement involved. States vary with laws regarding recording someone against their will or without their knowledge. I don’t know enough about it.
