Glenn Beck aside, there ARE people out there that believe eugenics is a good thing, and it makes me cringe.

Peter Singer comes very close, as did Pelosi in her abortion to save money comment.

The eugenics type threat isn’t research, the more immediate threat will be rationing that comes with nationalized care, and the economic decisions that will be made about cost effectiveness of treatments vs. long term outcome that will come closer to eugenics.
