Tony Perkins, the raging homophobe of the Family Research Council (wingnut for Hate Gays and Liberals with a charity tax exemption), lost his home to the flooding in Louisiana.

I do not wish ill on Tony Perkins (and certainly not Louisiana, which has to put up with him besides all the rain). Mr. Perkins however, continually rants about how earthquakes and floods and hurricanes and whatnot are because of the “geyh agenda and liberal political correctness.” God either has a sense of humour or very bad aim.

Mr. Perkins is on vacation this month but called into his own radio show to tell how he and his family had to escape by canoe, and that his home will take some six months to rebuild. He then spins this disaster into an opportunity to “suffer for God’s sake” (as if suffering is a good thing).
