Whatever else you can say about DT, he is the master of the Tweet, the bullet point and the talking point, and he knows how to get the media repeating just what he wants them to say.

He can also distract the media from covering more substantive issues with his inane tweets. It’s like he throws a shiny object in the air, and they all go racing after it.
