Driving while black. Doesn’t happen to them so they don’t care. They don’t care or realize how this creates a cycle of violence, misery, despair, etc.

Each stop means lost time, wages, opportunities. Each stop is another strike and potential deadly incident. Each stop is a ticking time bomb. Each stop is another cost for the driver.

And it sucks the literal life out of the minority community (as we see in places like the Greater STL region, where the State AG reports repeatedly show minorities are pulled over disproportionately, and treated as a piggy bank for local criminal justice/law/towns on top of the fines/costs they already occur).

It’s systemic and it’s not changing because most people don’t experience it.

They shouldn’t have to to know that it’s absolutely wrong and a gross injustice.
