The entire thread of that new poll is just plain fucking depressing.

The right could say the sky is chartreuse and the moon is made of foot fungus, and a good 60% of the country would believe them outright or consider the thought very seriously.

There doesn’t seem to be any fucking breakthrough moment to be had, even for ‘Independents’. The South really did fucking win the Civil War apparently.
