It’s a strange issue - when can you verify the signature, only before election day, or after? Some counties have a policy of only verifying before election day and others allow post-election day verification, which creates an equal protection issue because a vote that would be valid in one county wouldn’t be valid in another under similar circumstances.

This is similar to the Florida 2000 recount where different counties were counting ballots differently.
