I’m optimistic about retaking the Senate this fall.

I’m very much not. I understand that any sane electorate would vote out any of them.

I also understand that they are acting like people who will never have to face another general election and whose only fear of being primaried is by an even more Hitlerist Republican.

It could be suicidal overconfidence or they could know they have an almost unbeatable ace in the hole.
