This strikes me as staffers trying to appease Trump with a rally, and the GOP attempting to stop the “don’t vote in the runoff” social media campaign. It only works as long as Trump thinks he’s going to win the election through the courts. Once Trump stops flailing, he won’t give a shit about the Senate.
