Yes, sorta scary, but you can refill/reload your own ammo. You don’t have to buy it from a store.

You can buy a machine, buy the powder and the metal. Then, save your spent cartridges and refill.

Cheap, reliable and pretty much untraceable.

My father had a re-loader in the garage when I was a kid.

By itself, it was totally harmless. Had a green plastic handle, I recall.

I can’t remember if I ever watched him use it.
