That gives some insight into the shooting: Principal and psychologist tell mentally troubled father things he didn’t want to hear, he flips out and murders them.

/This should not be read as approval of a murder ramage, but rather an attempt to find out why the murders happened.

According to the witness, the principal and psychologist were in a meeting with her (the witness) when the shooting began in the hall. The 2 were killed and other injured when they went out into the hall. From this story, it doesn’t appear that these people were necessarily targets. Could be just in the wrong place, wrong time.
