I totally agree. The entire band, in my book.

They’ve done a good deal to export “Britishness” throughout the world. I took three of my students here back in August 2008 to see Iron Maiden in Prague. They were highly skeptical, thinking that Maiden was just a bunch of old fogeys.

They were headbanging about 15 minutes into the concert. They didn’t know any of the songs…..none of them were Maiden fans (they were into dubstep, house, etc.).

The common consensus afterwards - “Greatest concert, greatest band, EVER!!!”

When the fighting was going on in Lebanon a few years back, Bruce volunteered to be one the pilots to go in and pull out civilians, plus he’s flown British troops home from Afghanistan a few times.
