re: #48 Brother Holy Cruise Missile of Mild Acceptance

yeah, that doesn’t sound good and there is the possibility that it could have been intentional. Then they forced the news helicopters to move a long way away from the cabin (understandable to an extent) which prevented anyone from seeing anything.

I’ll give the cops the benefit of the doubt unless some evidence emerges to show they intentionally burned the place down with intent to kill dorner.

Brings back memories of the MOVE stand off in Philly in 1985. The police, who rank up there with the LAPD in race relations, dropped an incinderay device on MOVE’s row house.

Intended to smoke them out, they wound up burning down a whole city block and killing most of the MOVE members in the process.

In Philly PD’s defense, it was similar to the Dorner situation. This group had another stand off with the cops in ‘78, and wound up killing two cops and a fireman in the process.

Bad situation all around, driven by a heavily armed “back to nature” group who lived in the 5th biggest city in the country.
