Wiegel got in trouble for his postings at Journolist, which has been covered by LGF in the past as a hotbed for infantile behavior and postings by journalists before. It truly does act like a high school clique. Just search for Journolist in LGF and you’ll see that it’s been referred to in more than a few instances for juvenile behavior among our supposed journalistic betters.

The real issue, IMO, was that Wiegel was supposedly covering the side that he deplored. The guy was basically dishonest, as is the whole idea of JournoList, IMO.

Nothing wrong with having a point of view - just make it known. Especially when it is the polar opposite of the point of view you are supposedly presenting to readers.
