Unfortunately, you are in the minority in the GOP sphere.

Obama has been exceptional on national security. When push came to shove, he kept what was working- from Guantanamo to the Patriot Act which pissed off is base.

Perhaps you noticed that he campaigned (in ‘08) on closing Guantanamo, without ever explaining what he had as a better idea.
Being the exceptional sort of chap that I am, I could have told him years ago that there really wasn’t a better alternative. If you can name any other president whose rhetoric was so far removed from reality as ol’ big ears, I’ll buy you a beer.
