The problem here is defining ‘the left’. Most liberals and centrist Democrats are not anti-Israel, while they may believe some misinformation about the state’s actions. Most far-left people are. (NO, I have no polls or links, this is based on my intuitive observations of the range of the left-of-center community.)

This is actually a phenomenon I don’t have a whole bunch of exposure to, because a lot of my lefty friends are super-interested in domestic policy. They may believe some misinformation on Israel, but they’re not really invested in it one way or another.

Which I guess is not so far from me, I’m far far far more interested in domestic policy than foreign policy.
