I suggested that it was an extreme position to “be negotiated down from” thinking that the law was being considered… once I was informed that it had indeed passed I admitted my error & retracted my statement. A minor detail the GDF omitted for obvious reasons.

And once again, I think that one can make a case that is wrong of anyone to bring this position to the table even in bad faith to negotiate down from it.
