Heh. I used to walk up the alley to my uncle’s house on Sunday nights to watch Bonanza in color.

I think that Dad bought our first color set when I was about 9 or 10.

My husband reports that a paperboy, circa 1973, came to their house and wondered out loud what was wrong with their television. It was black and white. His dad went out and bought a color TV the next day.
