At the moment, there are a number of questions swirling around these matters; it isn’t clear whether those responsible would care to have their actions examined under the spotlight cast by a court of law.

The questions that are swirling around are basically how high up does the rot go in ACORN. The videotapes were produced by two kids who pretended to be pimps in ACORN offices, and they were produced by the simple expedient of hiding their videocamera while they asked for eagerly forthcoming assistance perpetrating egregious illegalities.

The kids are all over TV saying “sue us or prosecute us - please!” That would give them discovery rights to subpoena all of ACORN’s records - something that I’m reasonably certain would fill the ACORN organization with great dread.
