The speed of which the authoritarianism is coming at us is breakneck and almost unbearable.

I think it was roughly this time last year, if not earlier, that those of us who were sounding the alarm about Trump’s desires for fascism were told to stop being “alarmist.” That there would be too much public pushback against such things and there would be means of holding Trump back. That it would be a slow process and thus there was time to put a stop to it before he went too far.

Well, I hate to say “I told you so” to those folks, but…
