I’ll complete the trifecta by mentioning ‘vocal fry.’ That’s the thing that drives me straight up the wall.

I will use “like” sometimes for effect….I know I’m doing it. It’s not a verbal tick, it’s a lifestyle choice. But vocal fry sends me into orbit. I HATE it. It makes the speaker sound ridiculous.
