I’m watching live updates on the BBC. They are in the House of Commons right now, letting it slip over the cliff… this is almost - but not as bad of course - like watching 9/11 again; that sick knowledge that a horrific moment in history is unfolding before my eyes…

My husband thinks Trudeau will get reelected. But neither of us expected Ford to win, so…who knows. There is the same wingnut “thought” (mostly in western Canada) along with smatterings of wingnuts, racists, etc., throughout Canada. We are not without hateful people…but hopefully less of us are. Also, I think Canadians are smarter than Americans (sorry, just what I see from personal experience) and not as susceptible to Russian interference.

But it all remains to be seen.

I love how no one is stepping up to do something for you. Corbyn is a fucking loser and why he is the preferred Liberal I have no idea. Preferred by the party, that is, not the electorate. But, unless someone acts, he’s the man. Some Tory out and out said the stuff you’re not supposed to say out loud, but it’s like no one is listening.

I think you guys are in for a world of hurt. And I am so sorry.
