This has actually been going on for a while. White power/Neo-Nazi groups have tried on several occasions to “re-brand” themselves as everything from “southern heritage” to “pro-white culture”, or some twisted version of a Christian culture group. All are just PR spin.

Given the current economic conditions, these groups are trying this tactic again to recruit new members.
