I have a number of comments and things I’d like to get off my chest.

First to CL. I have no beef with you and I never have. I have always respected you. Look back at all of our past interactions and you, I hope can see that is true.

After the murder of that man and the desecration of the Tomb of Joseph, I was very angry. Especially since this amidst heightened rocket attacks and the murder of the Foegel family. I don’t think peace is possible. My mind has shifted to a war footing.

I have always distinguished between different Muslim factions. If you recall, I supported the rights of Muslims to build a mosque at park 51. And I have scoffed at the unconstitutionality and hysteria of anti-sharia legislation.

But the war in Israel is something else. I am tired of it. I want it over.

Please don’t let hysterics of the ohh so delicate with grudges try to convince you otherwise.

It’s rather curious the way web behavior works honestly.

I am well aware that I have said quite a few things that have hurt certain delicate ears.

This is web politics.

For instance: the statement that the Temple is Jewish.

That is a statement of fact as true as 2+2=4. Unfortunately, only Alouette could say that with me - until CL, the one you were all defending supposedly, and to her great credit, said it in her open letter. I have no beef with CL.

I try to back things up with facts. I have been swayed more than once. I have admitted when I was, mistaken, flat out wrong or even completely off base on things in the past.

Where I find the most grief though is when I make true statements that everyone knows bluntly.

That AGW is real. In the old days, I was under pile ons that make this look like nothing. Yah think the new PC police scare me after fighting tooth and nail with hardcore wingnuts?

One time I noticed how many GOP speakers were really tubby. To me this was a perfect metaphor for the mindless consumption their party falsely thinks is a sustainable way of life. Unfortunately, that offended the fatties here. None of that changes the fact that such things only make the point stronger. Afteral, we are addicted to a consumer lifestyle that substitutes stuff for happiness and fulfillment - easy pleasures over hard work. No one puts a gun to your head and makes you become obese. It is just weakness.

Then there is the whole southern thing beat into the dust by those brave defenders of the South who imagine there is no extra problem there with racism and ignore bill after bill in their legislatures and voting patterns that clearly show otherwise.

And the Fox News women. I have written again and again about advancing women in society for years here. So when a group of silicon augmented starlets use their sexuality to push a message that puts women back 100 years, it is ironic in the extreme. Any woman will tell you that the worst enemies of women’s rights are always other women. It seems though a man can’t call out women who prostitute themselves at the expense of other women.

I was even asked what Miss S thought about it. What do you think she calls women who betray other women like that? She is more harsh than me! She made a fantastic comment about it. She said that a woman doing her job, going about her day to day, should never ever have to be harassed. She continued that only crazy feminists expect nothing to be sexual when women who go to certain dance clubs in a little dress. She also added that some women enjoy the random interactions. Of course, Miss S. tends to live in the real world also.
