re: #623 albusteve

Whirlpool left Benton Harbor MI because of taxes and regulations they simply could not afford…it killed the town, hundreds of high skilled workers left with nothing…google it…corporate taxes drove them out of the country, like many others…the feds can only soak so many people to finance itself and entitlements before they close up shop…see textiles in the south east or steel up north…the feds stripped away our competativeness via taxation…who pays for all the free shit?

It’s not just that. Our workers cost alot, and its cheaper for Whirlpool to make its products in Mexico. Their priority is profit and they’ll move the jobs where the labor is cheap.
