So once again this is all about something that “maybe could possibly” happen and not an actual current complaint. Right…I’m sure they will get right on to persecuting you, just for fun, just as soon as they have seized all the guns and locked up all the Christians in the FEMA camps. I imagine they will be rather busy with that to start the new term out, but I’m sure they will get to you eventually.

You miss the point, as many of you lefties do.
If you increase the risks or costs of doing business of any kind, you decrease the number of people who are willing to try some new venture.
Have you noticed how much the prices of, for example, classic cars have gone up in the last few years ? If someone with money to spare has a choice between investing in a business venture where he has a small, but not insignificant chance of being sued for all he’s got, or buying an old Ferrari which has a good chance of appreciating, what’s he gonna do ?
It depends on the circumstances and ambitions of the individual of course, but I know of a lot of people who’ve gone for buying a nice toy or artwork, rather than risking money in a business which might be sued or regulated out of existence.
