No. We hung out at and around school, too. I had a car and they didn’t (her and her boyfriend). Both of them were a couple of the nicest people I have ever known. Her mom, too. That said, they did live in the projects and I got some …interesting… comments from the locals a few times. I quit going to her house shortly thereafter, but we remained friends for some time.
