Yep not one of the Republican presidential candidates have called out racism.

I think that’s the premise of the piece, which is remarkably self-aware. They’re saying that conservative politicians and conservative talking heads are too chicken to offend the racist portion of their audience.

If you’re one of the (how many is it now? 14?) GOP presidential candidates and you call Charleston for what it is, you’re guaranteed to lose 10% of your followers to some other candidate who won’t make them feel bad because they’re racists.
