Again, neither Timothy nor I said it was okay. I’m of German descent for fuck sake. My Dad’s grandfather was literally born in Germany. I’m merely saying that German-Americans did not have as bad as the Japanese-Americans in WWII. My dad’s grandfather was able to serve on the WWII rationing board in Pittsburgh during the war. If he had been Japanese born, he wouldn’t have been able to do that. You’re correct that German-Americans were in fact interned and VB was incorrect to say they were not but they were not at the same rate of Japanese-Americans there definitely was racism to why the Japanese were held.
