Yeah, something like that. I had one girl who insisted a thrown ball follows a straight line and not a parabolic one, even after we demonstrated to her by throwing a tennis ball back and forth. She was a special case.

Became a pre-K/kindergarten teacher, so her effects on the future generation have been minimized.
