I should refer this to The Older Boy, who’s taking a Forensics course. They’re doing handwriting right about now. He was castigating his lab partner for misidentifying his writing sample, given that 1) TOB always uses a BLACK pen, and 2) asked to write “I’m robbing the bank”, TOB wrote “I’m Robin de Banque”. Nobody else in the class would make a joke that bad.

I have a quirk in my signature that I use that no one as far as I know has really noticed. Anyhow, it’s hard for me to say since the yearbook signature is blurry but the way he writes his R and M in both look close but I’d definitely have your son look at it since he knows more than I do.
