Too many people are still sold on the notion that being rich automatically means you are smarter and better at everything.

Yeah, I had someone in a bar awhile back try that one me. I said tRump was a moron. He says, “How did he get so rich?”. And I said, “Because his parents fucked. Doesn’t take a lot of business acumen to fuck. Fly’s fuck. Everything he has ever tried on his own has gone into the business world shitter.”

Bars are a bad place to get into such interactions. Don’t even get me started on the back and forth I had Saturday with a mental midget conspiracy nut job over the jobs numbers for the past year in comparison to the last few previous years. He was laughing that I believed the job numbers coming from the government. I told him that business people depend on those reported numbers to make hiring decisions and wage decisions, and they would be royally pissed if those numbers were being messed with. When the facts can offhandedly be ignored as fake, it pretty much isn’t worth discussing anymore. So I just quit the conversation at that point and I’m sure he went away figuring he had won. Oh well.
