It LOOKS English, but without seeing the guts, it’s hard to tell. Elgin and Waltham both exported movements for the English market, which Dennison then cased and sold. And the Swiss similarly sold quite a few movements in England that were also cased by English casemakers. In fact my first vintage pocket watch was a Swiss keywind in an English silver case!

a present from mom and dad when i graduated college (1979). wore it for 12 years, then i switched from 3 piece suits to wetsuits.
