I honestly think the biggest worry on our minds right now should not be whether or not Roe will overturned, it’s that it is but the public backlash we’re expecting doesn’t appear. That instead of yells and screams for blood, the public greets the news with silence because they’re too wrapped up in their own lives to care. That Repubs can convince them that inflation or gas prices or even mask mandates are of greater importance than whether or not women in the next state over can find an open abortion clinic.

That happened a year ago, when lack of voter outrage failed to crush Trump and Trumpism. Welcome to 1959.
