I’d be one of the last people in the world to defend Muslim extremists or rioters but, fact is, European Muslims are not just seething when they complain about discrimination and racism from the natives. I’ve been there recently, in France, Belgium, and Italy. The open racism toward non-white immigrants is often quite shocking to an American. The Euros, indoctrinated by their own media, take it for granted that a white American would share these attitudes, so they don’t hold back. Nuanced they aren’t.

The fascist right is still small in Europe but it is growing by leaps and bounds. Worse yet, the rate of growth is bound to accelerate as the movement’s very size gives it greater credibility. The real problem is that the multi-cultists who administer Europe from their Brussels lair are as clueless about this situation as the Weimar government was about the problems of Germany in the 1920s. The result, with another global depression in the offing, might well be the same.
