It’s so strange - prior to these threads, I don’t believe I’d ever heard of Beck. It makes me a little queasy.

How many other nuts are out there with influential shows I’ve never heard of? I honestly thought rationality had reached its nadir when Ghost Hunters, The Ghost Whisperer and Medium hit television. Then I started hearing about Olberman and Beck.

At least Ghost Whisperer and Medium are honest about being fiction. Ghost Hunters and those 2 kooks you mentioned aren’t.
