If ancient trade routes were the key factor, why didn’t the jews migrate to Iran? You and I both know that this is about Zionism. Many groups of people believe that the land of Israel is theirs, because they believe their god promised that land to them. End of story. The conflict continues because not one of those groups wants to admit that just maybe their god doesn’t exist and the whole promise was man-made. No. I would prefer that you not leave out the effects upon the modern world of conflict of a non-religious nature.
