re: #635 SanFranciscoZionist

I feel like she adopted this pose of being very religious to dress up being a hardcore social conservative. She trashed ‘less religious’ Jews. Then she wanders off because, yes, being an Orthodox Jew is A LOT HARDER than being an evangelical Christian. It just is. She should have known that going in.

And because it was hard, and because she didn’t feel the warm fuzzy vibes she needed, and because the Jewish community didn’t make a big enough deal out of her, she stomped off…OK, it happens, but rather than saying ‘my spiritual path is going somewhere else’ or something, she makes it Judaism’s fault. It’s never her fault, it’s always someone else’s fault—and lo and behold, she’s suddenly spouting the usual Christian criticism’s of Judaism—too cold, too much praxis—and bashing rabbis who want to put up menorahs, and…eeeccchhh.

Holy shit, she appears to have been “perfected” by Ann Coulter, somebody should check her for lumbar punctures and foot-thumbs:

Schlessinger even hinted at a possible turn to Christianity — a move that, radio insiders say, would elevate her career far beyond the 300 stations that currently syndicate her show. “I have envied all my Christian friends who really, universally, deeply feel loved by God,” she said. “They use the name Jesus when they refer to God… that was a mystery, being connected to God.”
