I hate to admit it, but I guess the NFL is within its rights if it wants to demand that players react to the playing of the National Anthem in a certain prescribed manner.

The fact that they have to require it in the first place should be embarrassing enough for them.

Without going into the reasons they have the players out for the National Anthem to begin with…

No, there are first amendment issues here (like saluring the flag).
