First major hurricane of the 2016 season. It’ll churn up the Atlantic something fierce, but doesn’t appear to be a threat to the continental US. More concerning is the low pressure system over Cuba right now - Invest 99L, which could turn into a tropical system once it clears Cuba and heads into open warm waters of the Gulf.
