I’d say the context of “believes Holocaust survivor is a Nazi and Secret Jew Overlord” suggests that made it’s not a joke. As does the “Islamic Brotherhood” part of the exact same tweet.

My guess is ABC has been sacrificing rum and gunpowder hoping that Barr would fuck up in a normal way rather than, say, get really public with school shooting trutherism or arcane theories about ritual child abuse. Because you can soft-soap racism and people will…respond like they did.

Whereas addressing that she really means all that shit she’s saying requires engaging with a deeper level of we-fucked-up, and would require confronting people who’ll freak out if you suggest that, say, the George Soros thing is 100% recycled Protocols of the Elders of Zion….
