So, after years of hearing people bitch about hunters hunting “poor, defenseless wildlife”, I’m a bit surprised by all the people hating on the bowhunter, who clearly had to get within dangerously close distance of a bear.

Well, he shot it from a tree stand and thought it was dead. It attacked when he came down and approached it.

Personally I don’t have a problem with bear hunting as long as he planned to use the meat. Bear populations are doing fine and the better they do the more they wander into suburbs.
