OK, if you have a situation where you’re experiencing discomfort, this seems sensible enough. In any field of plastic surgery, there are going to be procedures that are just to correct problems, or improve function. But that’s unusual enough that it’s not fueling all of this. Like I say, I saw the before and after pictures, and none of the ‘befores’ made me think “Oh, that poor gal, that looks uncomfortable”.

Ya gotta figure. Most plastic surgeries done in Beverly Hills are probably cosmetic, but I’ve been reading about this over the last few months and many of the women do complain of discomfort. Of course, I have no idea of knowing how much is corrective or cosmetic.

I hate to be on the fence about cosmetic surgery. Part of me says, “Do what makes you feel good.” The other part is wrapped up in feminism; either changing yourself to please men or lacking self-confidence because of men/body image/media images. In the end, I mostly feel that any surgery has potential dangers, which stops me personally from cosmetic surgery.
