You can’t, unless he was wearing a kippah or something. I have to wonder why the police would be searching for a Hispanic guy if the victim, who presumably gave them the description, said he was a Russian Jew.

Additionally, the news video embedded in the NY Daily News article says “the attacker yelled anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim slurs.”

Like I said, I also find it odd that two reporters would come up with completely different stories about what the victim supposedly said afterwards. The NY Daily News portrays him as forgiving, the NY Post as vengeful.
