Hmm. Unfortunately, there’s no way that I’m aware of to be able to monitor connections to your network from anywhere other than the source of said network, which would be the AP. If it doesn’t have a firmware upgrade option, it may still be possible to install one of the Linux distros, but it also dramatically increases your chances of bricking it if you stuff up the install.
